Free Scripts From ASDG!

You can select from the following list of scripts that have already been pre-made for website services. These scripts are available to the general public free of charge, and are considered open source resources ( we will not provide the source code here, but once you have downloaded the script you are free to tinker with the script however you would like - the only restriction on this is that we will not allow you to distribute this modified version of the script unless we approve it, as covered under Intellectual Property and Copyright laws). The main limitations placed on the use of these scripts is that you cannot change/delete the headers or documentation included within the scripts if you decide to distribute it, and you cannot re-sell the scripts.

The script may have to be configured to work on your server if you are running a different configuration than the script has been set to. We will provide a general help FAQ file for these scripts, but since they are free, we will generally not support the use or installation of them. If you have extenuating circumstances and desperately need our help with one of these free scripts, may can drop us a line using our contact form. If we have time, we may help.

Scripts marked with an * require a MySQL database in order to function. We are currently developing all of our scripts to utilize the power and ease of use provided by MySQL databases. However, if we get enough requests, we will start to develop flat-file-text-only database options for those scripts.
Scripts marked with an + require Server Side Includes (commonly known as SSI) to be activated on your site.
All free scripts available for download here are archived in the WinZip format. You will need WinZip (or any other unzipping utility) to unzip the scripts.

Simple Site Free Counter+*	This is a simple page hit counter you can install on your site to monitor the hits different pages are receiving. This is not a site statistics tool (although we may produce such a tool if we get enough requests for one) it simply counts the hits to the page that it is installed on. Anti-Spam E-mail	You can use this script to have e-mail sent to yourself from your website, without having to have your e-mail address in the HTML code of your script, where e-mail address harvesting "spam-bots," can get it and put it onto more and more spammers mailing lists. What's-on-my-website?	This is a quick and simple script that runs a check on your website's server's environmental variables, finds the directory your sendmail program is in, and finds and displays all the perl modules that have been installed for your website (including any Perl Modules you may have written and placed in the cgi-bin.) This can be a very useful script for getting information about your website, instead of having to contact your hosting service you can just run this script.
